108 E North Street was built as a grain elevator by Indiana Farm Bureau about 1915. On the south edge of town with a track spur running behind it, it was part of a five building complex where farmers bought and sold grain and seeds. After sitting empty for almost 40 years, it was mostly used by pigeons and raccoons. Three major fires left the building mostly unharmed as it is solid concrete and brick. Now, Joshua Baxter has taken on the daunting task of giving the building new life as an antique shop. With over 40,000 square feet total floor space on 6 floors, we hope to open up 4 levels for your treasure hunting and enjoyment....
